This is the thing i have wanted to share with you since the first time i entered this totally unique world. The feeling is amazing, as you are part of the sea, swimming around with the fish, waving at the little nemos, looking inside of a coral finding an eel inside of it and swimming away with a turtle. Diving is one of the things i had been secretly dreaming about but never really thought i could be the one doing it! Here we are, dreams do come true!
These pictures are from Sipadan, Sabah. Sipadan is a mushroom-shaped island, 600metres of coral and great variery of marine life. We were lucky enough to be one of the 120 people that get to visit this marine park area a day. Yes, this is the same place where the Finnish guys Seppo and Risto were kidnapped few years ago, but nowadays there is an army base on the island and so the unsafetyness isnt an issue anymore.
Me and one of my best underwater friends, a turtle! They were not even afraid of us and i could go really close and say hi to him!
I love this picture, though posing in 22metres was not always so really easy... Luckily we had our own Dive Master/ Photographer Jeffrey there with us! And hey, just a hint for you guys, you should never start laughing underwater!!
We saw three white tip reef sharks. (i am not a huge fan of them, though i know they are vegetarians. i was also told that they like also finnish girls as a dessert...)
And this was something new: Leopard shark. I always get this song from Tappajahai when i see a shark...
Bye my cute friend!! This is the guy i was swimming with, just us, for some metres but then i have to wave at him saying byes until i will next meet him again. No matter how little air i tried to use, i had to leave the place i felt so good at and get up from the sea. Sad sad moment, but i will try my best to come back!
